I failed many times, giving in to tiredness, neckaches, hunger pangs and whatever excuse I could find just to escape from having the much needed breakthrough in getting out from my comfort zone to understand new things...even things that I may not have an interest in.<br /><br />Tt just about sums up my first resolution for the new year! And so...my 5weeks holiday starts today...and the clock is ticking...and I've already spent the last 3 hours watching Return of the King (still brings tears to my eyes...aww...), figuring out how to make the router work with my bro...and doing some planning for my holidays...<br /><br />Many activities lined up for the 5 wks! Lotsa packing up...catching up and work...I can't wait! This was followed by lots of html induced headaches as I tried to change the layouts to suit my fancy, while my heart screamed: Ven, wasn't programming bad enough for you??!! Where do your loyalties lie?? What happened to all those complaints?<br /><br />**Speaking of programming, I scored much better for this module than my other two engineering core modules...ironic! hmph...<br /><br />Oh well...and so...presenting my quote new beginning in my personal blogging era unquote, complete with old layout n tagboard! The only new thing is probably this new entry! =]<br /><br />Ah...at least some change...<br /><br />Anyhowz, my results this semester were definitely less than satisfactory! My best was only a B and my worst a C+...After some self reflection, I realised my bad results were due to a combination of bad study methods and bad time management...coupled with my laziness and lack of interest in my engine modules...<br /><br />Still, it could have been worse! Thank God I managed to pass the first year, pass my programming and ee and phy n maths modules...when I think back to all those practical sessions I missed for programming, all the tutorials I gave up doing...<br /><br />It's only by Your grace and mercy...and I don't wanna take it for granted.<br /><br />On a side note, I have an interest in upgrading my blog and making it more personal! Anyone who has discovered the joys of html...please do help me!=] I would really appreciate it!<br /><br />Wanted to upload some pictures...but I'm really busy now! Think the last item should be scrapped...since when did any guy pose as a distraction to me in this sch? hmmm...then again, the 'night' is still young and possibilities await....hehe...=P I'll leave this to God as well...<br /><br />Although this semester didn't quite start out the way I would've wanted it too, it sure ended with a nice note! I really thank God that I was able to find this group of friends to tide me over the difficult and trying period during my exams...who were there to encourage and pray and advise...=]<br /><br />Not forgetting those who were there each time I logged on to my msn...hehe...thank you wen jie and yuqin and jia kai and op for your encouragement...=]<br /><br />And so, the holidays are finally here! But this holidays are gonna be really different from what i've experienced so far... things are not going really well at home so I can't go out as often as I want to.
